Concrete Column Strengthening and Repair in Maryland

This recent concrete column strengthening project, completed by the experts at Maryland Mold & Waterproofing provided a permanent reinforcement solution for this multi residental commercial building.

The repair involved wrapping four of the six 18” reinforced columns with Structural Reinforcement Solutions 600 Unidirectional carbon fiber. Following the CFRP installation the columns were coated in an exterior paint for UV protection and to blend in with the existing concrete elements.
